FRANK SKINNER ANNOUNCES WEST END RUN FOR SHOWBIZ

23rd October, 2019

Following a sold out 2019 national tour, Frank Skinner brings his stand-up show, Showbiz to the West End for the first time, in January 2020. After a successful 2019, which included sold-out runs at London’s Leicester Square Theatre and the Edinburgh Fringe, Frank will perform a five week limited run at the Garrick Theatre. Performances start on 13th January until 15th February 2020.

What the press said about Showbiz…

‘Skinner is a master of everything from storytelling to quick one-liners…Shockingly good stand-up.’
Stephen Armstrong, Sunday Times

‘Very funny indeed… the archetypal comic with “funny bones” … irresistible’
Brian Logan, The Guardian

‘Skinner is still very, very funny… A keen football fan, no doubt he’d appreciate the analogy that form is temporary, but class is permanent. Skinner remains a class act.’
Alan Chadwick, Daily Mail

“I’ve got to tell you, that’s a great joke,” he stops to tell us after one neat play on words. Insufferable arrogance? No, it plays as Skinner being in the moment. He is unhurried enough to enjoy the experience alongside us; quick-witted enough to interact with the crowd with wicked wit throughout. This old timer’s funny bones have never been less creaky’
Dominic Maxwell, The Times
